Next week is the 4th of July, which means many practices will be closed or having special hours that day, or throughout the whole week. Did you know that you can create special hours on your Google My Business listing? Let’s look at how you can update your information online so your patients know exactly when they can see you!
Setting Your Hours in Google My Business
Using the special hours option, you can update your office hours on the 4th of July, so on that day the listing will read that you are closed. You can also adjust hours for the week. For example, some practices will only be closed on the 4th. Others will be taking the week off or having reduced hours the day after. No matter what your hours, you can make sure your Google My Business page reflects these updates, providing accurate information to people looking to schedule a visit. Then, the next day the hours will revert to the normal times.
Updating Your Blog, Website, and Social Media
You can also remind patients elsewhere. For example, you can blog about your hours. If you don’t want to dedicate an entire blog to your office hours, you could write about 4th of July-related events taking place in your community, and include a brief segment on whether you’ll be open or closed. You can also share a post on our social media pages as well and put an update on your website.
