We’ve discussed the importance of maintaining an active presence on various social networking platforms several times now. So, you probably know that sharing your blogs is important, but what else can you share on social media? Can you share information about your office? What about a funny comic you found online? Understanding what to share and what not to share can be confusing. Fortunately, we have a few suggestions.
Always share your blogs! Blogs offer unique, original content that address common questions or issues related to dentistry; therefore, why wouldn’t you share them with your clients?
What’s Going On in Your Office?
We recommend letting your social media followers in on good news and changes at your office. Going through a remodel? Show them the progress. Introducing a new team member? Do you have a staff member celebrating a big event? Share the good news (with their permission of course)! Doing so keeps you fresh in their feeds, and affords them opportunities to become more comfortable with your office, and more familiar with you and your team members. It also provides them with fresh, new content to like, comment on, and share.
Can I Share Stuff Just for Fun?
Yes! As long as what you share is related to your services, such as an interesting article about dental health or a comic/video related to dentistry. We wouldn’t suggest leaving complaints about a local auto shop or a movie trailer, but you can have fun while still appearing professional, as long as the content you share is appropriate and related to dentistry.
The Social Media Kit
Many of our clients simply don’t have the time to find items to post and share. We understand that doctors and office staff have a lot on their plate. That’s why we offer our clients carrying a monthly SEO package our social media kit for free. The kit includes a month’s worth of posts that can be shared across a variety of platforms. Many of them can also be personalized for your office. Once you receive the kit, you can schedule your posts all at once, spend just a few minutes each day setting them up, or we can even post them for you!
