Meet The MDPM Team: Kevin VanHorn

Because at MDPM Consulting we care about our clients, our entire team works hard to provide quality service for all of  them. As a result, we like to put a face to our team members and recognize their hard work. Today, we’re featuring an interview with our newest intern, Kevin VanHorn. He is a Terry Scholar at University of Texas at Dallas, where he maintains a 4.0 GPA. He is also the roommate and BFF of one of our beloved former interns, Tyler Meyers. Kevin is a man of many talents, he plays banjo, writes fiction, creates original concept art, and is even programming a game with Unreal Engine. He’s also a big fan of League of Legends, No Man’s Sky, and the dangerous and unpredictable sport of disc golf. Kevin tackles a lot during his days here, assisting our clients and our team in a variety of tasks as our tech support.

Meet Kevin VanHorn, Intern Extraordinaire

Question: How did you get started with MDPM Consulting?

Answer: My good friend Tyler let me know about an internship at MDPM Consulting on the day I moved out of my dorm as a freshman at UT Dallas. It sounded like a fun experience, so I put together a resume’, interviewed in fancy clothes, and here I am!

Question: What do you do for our clients?

Answer: I specialize in graphic design and programming, but the tasks I do vary from designing logos and business cards, to building webpages, making sites live, and fixing spelling mistakes. My official title is “tech support,” and I wouldn’t get work done without my trusty sidekicks: Jeffery and Chris.

Question: What do you hope to accomplish in your time with MDPM Consulting?

Answer: I want to better my skills as a graphic artist, and become familiar with more programming languages to understand the architecture behind making a website.

Question: What do you like best about working for MDPM Consulting? (No pressure)

Answer: The best part of working for MDPM is getting to know the rest of the staff. Everyone has a unique personality and something fun to bring to the table. Bagels too… bagels are good.

Question: If you could defiantly throw a cup of water in the face of any celebrity, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Answer: Clint Eastwood because apparently I should know who he is.
