You’ve probably heard of email blasts, and you may relate them to the dreaded spam, or UBE: unsolicited bulk email. I wondered, when composing this post, where the term spam came from. Leave it to computer geeks to give UBE a slang name based on a Monty Python skit — and an extremely obnoxious one, at that. See the video below if you’re brave enough.
