What can you offer to get patients in the door? First, you can offer discounts on routine checkups and x-rays. An initial visit can be a great way to get new patients started on the road towards a healthier smile. You can also offer certificate for treatments, such as teeth whitening, that can be purchased as gifts for others. Since the holidays are a time in which people attend parties and gatherings with friends, family, and co-workers, you can also offer additional specials on popular cosmetic treatments.
Reminding Patients About 2017 Benefits
Remember, there are just a few weeks left until the end of the year. With time off for holidays, there is little time for patients to see you before the end of 2017. Remind them that their dental benefits, whether dental insurance or flexible spending accounts, will expire unless used. They may be more likely to schedule a visit and undergo necessary treatments to prevent money from being left on the table. You can blog about this and also have your staff remind people as they call for information about your office or procedures.
Offering Stocking Stuffers
We have some clients that are offering stocking stuffers! For example, many practices sell electronic toothbrushes, waterflossers, or other products to help maintain healthy smiles. Some even have take-home whitening kits available. Offering a discount on the purchase of these items can make someone more likely to pick them up as gifts for others (or a well-deserved treat for themselves).
