Question: Can they help me stand out among my competition?
Answer: They can! For example, let’s say you practice in a town with several other practices. You all provide excellent general care. However, you have experience with treatments they don’t, such as dental implants or sleep dentistry. A microsite allows you to focus on these specific services, outlining your expertise and experience in detail. When people search for that specific service, or keywords related to it, you’re more likely to pop up on that covered first page.
Question: Should they look like my main site?
Answer: We believe so. While separate, it should still act as an extension of your main website. Similar esthetics, even if the navigation and content will be very different, is important.
Question: What should I cover in one?
Answer: That depends. Are you a practice that can cover every aspect of dental implant placement in one location? Do you have experience treating sleep apnea? Do you offer Invisalign® or another service? These are examples of good topics for a new site.
Question: Can I have more than one?
Answer: You can! Some of our clients may operate between two and three (or more). If you have a service you really want to highlight, don’t be afraid to add multiple ones.
